Why call this blog Pain, Love, Hope

When I decided to start writing this blog, I spent many days and some nights thinking of a title that could convey what I want my message to be.  I didn’t want to name it  “You in pain, read here”. Even though that would be right to the point. But it’s not that fancy or catchy.  So back to the drawing board.

Every name I thought would be good, was either taken, to long, or didn’t have what I wanted people to read.  One night I was texting my older brother and telling him how I wanted to start a blog but couldn’t figure out what to call it.  That put him on a mission.  All of a sudden, my cell phone started to blow up from all of his text messages. Title after title, name after name, he was determined to help me out.  He asked me a lot of questions, like what do you want the blog to be able.  Pain, I said but I don’t want it to be just pain.  What do you mean, he asks.  I said, even though I live with chronic pain daily, I want to be able to talk about other things that I love to do and that give me a purpose in life.  I want to let people know that having hope is so important when one lives with pain.  The next text he sent said three words “pain, love, hope”.  That was it. That was exactly what I was looking for in a name for my blog so people know that even with pain, there is love and hope.

So the next question I have to you is what do you love and what gives you hope in your life.  With those two things, I believe anyone can get through the pain.

Leave me a comment below with one thing that you love and one thing you have hope for.  I truly believe that when you have those two in your life, getting through pain can be accomplished.

I look forward to this journey with you because all of you are my love and my hope.

Until next time…….
